SCENIC HIGHWAY FOUNDATION
WHO ARE WE?
The non-profit volunteer group Scenic Highway Foundation serves as a caretaker of Pensacola Scenic Bluffs Highway, to ensure that the vision and intent of the Florida Scenic Highway program is fulfilled within the corridor.
We are an organization made up of concerned individual, neighborhood organizations and businesses. Our mission is to promote, protect, preserve, maintain and enhance Pensacola Scenic Bluffs Highway. We maintain a corridor management plan, promote the preservation and beautification of this most significant, historic, scenic and natural resource and serve as a vehicle for community input to express the views and desires of the public.
WHAT ARE OUR GOALS?
Preserve protect,maintain and enhance the intrinsic resources found within
the Scenic Highway Corridor
Provide for safe, enjoyable vehicular and non-vehicular transportation along
the Pensacola Scenic Bluffs Corridor
Seek community support and participation throughout the implementation
process upon the selection of the Pensacola Scenic Highway Corridor as a
Florida State Scenic Highway.
Promote awareness of the corridor story through education and public
outreach
Encourage tourism and other economic development activities that are
consistent with the goals of the Pensacola Scenic Bluffs Highway Corridor
Management Plan.
